This home was built in the mid-1950’s and needed a complete renewal of the basement family room. We stripped it clean, water sealed the foundation, relocated the ceiling lighting and wall plugs, insulated and sound proofed before the new drywall, flooring, trim and cabinetry were installed. The wood-burning fireplace’s brick was removed and it was re-faced with contemporary stone and a maple mantle.

We also remade the ground-level two-piece bath in to a three piece by relocating the toilet, adding a shower and a heated floor.
